The battle isn’t strong enough to erase your purpose.

No matter where you are in your fight, there’s hope!

Dear beloved, let’s take a moment for some ‘real-talk.’

When the noise doesn’t stop, how do you respond?

When the internal battle comes with a forceful blow, how do you anesthetize the pain?

When you’re one step from reaching the edge, how do you convince yourself not to entertain the thought of peeking over to assess the steep decline?

Do you drown everything out with the satisfaction of lust, drugs, material things, or anger?

Do you numb yourself by shutting off the life that’s genuinely looking for healing?

Or, do you give in to temptation because it’s a temporary fix for the issue that you believe no one understands?

No matter how you answered the above questions, know that your pain is real, but your healing is not impossible. Every day someone battles mentally, emotionally, or physically with something. Therefore, I don’t want you to walk away from this post thinking you’re an anomaly. Everything you’ve ever experienced doesn’t have to define your future by paralyzing you from reaching your purpose.

Trust me. I know all too well how battling an invisible war with the mind and emotions can be exhausting. However, beloved, you don’t have to fight alone. Regardless of your circumstance, social standing, language, and belief system, there are resources available to help you trample the giants you face.

Everything you’ve ever experienced doesn’t have to define your future by paralyzing you from reaching your purpose.

Join me this month as I connect with experts and advocates during a new series on the Moments with Mahalia Podcast called “Help I’m Battling.” This series, designed for all who are currently in a battle, recovering from a battle, or are supporting someone, will address elements of mental and emotional health.

No matter where you are in your fight, there’s hope. Don’t throw in the towel. Don’t think your life is hopeless because it’s not. The battle may be rough, but it’s not strong enough to erase your purpose. Give yourself permission to be vulnerable and courageous enough to fight for your internal peace. I believe in you and understand that while it’s almost impossible to win a war on your own, you can disarm any enemy with the assistance of the right tribe.

Your healing is not impossible!
