Sunday Sweets - 1.3.21
Hey Family, so we’re officially nearing the end of our first weekend in 2021, and I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to taking life one moment at a time during this year. Despite all of the many challenges, stretching periods, and character-building moments associated with 2020, one thing I refuse to let go of from last year is the understanding of cherishing life. You see, it is easy to pick out everything that went wrong in your life last year. However, when you focus on the negative things, you neglect to see the growth that genuinely took place. In some cases, the development you experienced may have never occurred without the pressure. Yet, your decision to endure every trial, overcome each obstacle, and hold on to the last bit of faith you had left wasn’t for nothing. Why? Your being here, in this given moment, is for a reason. At this moment, you may not know what that reason is right now, but if you hold on just a little bit longer, I do believe the understanding will soon manifest itself.
So, as you continue to stand and explore the days that are ahead for 2021, do not let go of last year’s growth, wisdom, and the character-building you received. Your ability to expand upon this insight will keep you aligned with your purpose. Allow your purpose to fuel your evolution so that your destiny one day becomes fulfilled.
Since the road down 2021 is still unknown and slightly cloudy, don’t hesitate to stop and breathe for a minute. Take in every moment, and feel free to explore your passions. You only have one life to live and one destiny worth fighting for, so come on and give it all you got!
Just so you know I’m on this journey with you, here’s a tasty treat (Homemade Vegan Apple Pie with SoyCreamy's Vanilla Ice Cream) from my joy of cooking to add some sweetness to your Sunday.
I’m honored to walk this journey with you, so cheers to Still Standing in 2021.
